Nursery is all decked out thanks to home builder donation

- 29 Aug 18

Playtime just got better for children at Poppets Day Nursery in Ongar thanks to support from a local home builder.

The nursery now boasts a brand-new decking area in its garden after receiving a donation of £2,700 from Bovis Homes, giving the children more space to play outdoors.

“We were delighted to support Poppets Nursery,” says regional marketing manager, Candice McCabe. “It has really enhanced the garden and it’s great to see children being encouraged to go outside.”

Bovis Homes has recently joined the Chipping Ongar community with its nearby Livingstone Gardens location.

“Poppets Day Nursery is just down the road from us and we’re sure many of our new residents will benefit from this fantastic new amenity,” says Candice.

Michelle Patman, co-manager at Poppets Day Nursery said: “The decking has provided the children with a lovely literacy and maths area that they can spend time with the practitioners, extending their learning.”

Bringing a range of three to five-bedroom homes to Chipping Ongar, Livingstone Gardens has transformed part of the Fyfield Business Park into a brand-new, carefully-designed neighbourhood. In addition to the new homes, there will be a range of recreational facilities, green open spaces and footpaths running throughout. A new path will also be created which will lead into Ongar, allowing residents to safely walk to the facilities within the village.

To find out more about Livingstone Gardens, go to www.bovishomes.co.uk or visit the sales centre. Open Thursday to Monday, 10am until 5pm.
