Home hunters in Oxfordshire can be the first to view properties from the new range just released by one of the country’s leading housebuilders at a special launch event in the county.

The show home launch and champagne reception is taking place at Bovis Homes’ Hampton Meadow location in Stadhampton on Saturday, 19th January. The event runs from 11am to 4pm.

A play area on the development is also set to be ready in time for the event.

The five-bedroom Birch show home is part of a new housing range by Bovis Homes, which has been designed and developed by the company throughout 2018. The Stadhampton property is the first in the country to open its doors.

Paul O’Keeffe, Bovis Homes site manager at Hampton Meadow, said: “We’re proud to be the first location to unveil one of the fantastic new house designs from this new range. We can’t wait to welcome visitors to experience the superb living space that this exciting design offers.

“We couldn’t have had a better location to showcase these new homes. This is a lovely village and we look forward to seeing the reaction of visitors when they take a look around.

"It’s been a fantastic project to be involved with, and throughout the build our focus has been to make sure the quality reflects the great design.”

The homes from the new Bovis Homes collection, which range from two-bedroom apartments to large five-bedroom family homes, are named after British trees. They include the four-bedroom Aspen and five-bedroom Oak house types.

Regional marketing manager, Paul Bennison, said: “The first part of the design process for the new range involved talking to all types of home buyer and asking what they looked for in a new home.

“In developing those ideas into the designs, our guiding principles were to create quality homes that are eye-catching and well-proportioned on the outside, with a real sense of light and flow on the inside.

“The results speak for themselves. Every property in our new range combines open living spaces with classic architecture and traditional build quality. Each house type is unique, but the inspiration behind them is the same – the customer.”

The Birch has a front-facing study/dining room and centrepiece living room, with a stunning showcase kitchen adjoining the sitting area and feature bi-fold doors. There are five spacious bedrooms, two with en suite.

“The Birch is a home with a difference and you notice that as soon as you walk through the door,” said site manager Paul, who is from Witney. “I think there’s a sense of space in every room. There’s lots of light and the layout is perfect for modern life.”

The landscape provides a stunning backdrop for the new collection. The Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is less than 10 miles away, and those who are fans of Midsomer Murders will recognise Wallingford and Thame, which both feature in the television series.

Education is often a key factor for house buyers and at Hampton Meadow there are many schools in the area to choose from, including Stadhampton Primary School and, for older students, The Oxford Academy and the Oxford Spires Academy, among others.

On the transport front, Didcot Parkway railway station is 10 miles away, offering services to London Paddington, which takes about 45 minutes.
