Northern sales advisor Annette Slinn was so in tune with one of her customers that he agreed to play a starring musical role for her at a family wedding!

Stephen Mann, a cellist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, had nothing but praise for Annette and her team for the professional way they helped him through the purchase of his home at the now sold-out Ferns development in Farnworth, near Bolton.

And he was more than happy to return the favour and show his own professional prowess when Annette's son Andrew tied the knot with Deborah at Samlesbury Hall in Preston.

"I was happy to play at the wedding and really enjoyed the event," said Stephen. "I'd like to think Annette and I have developed a friendship. Who knew you could make a new friend from buying a home!"

Around the time he was looking to buy the two-bed apartment, Stephen was struggling to sell his old property and was worried that his dream move might fall through.

"Annette knew I needed time to sell my property and she helped by keeping the channels open for me so I could buy this apartment," said Stephen. "And the service from Bovis Homes didn't stop when I moved in. Any problems or queries I had were dealt with quickly, so I'm happy with the post-sale service."

Stephen is now fully settled into his new home, but he still recalls what it was like to be a house hunter for the first time in almost three decades.

"I was in my last property for 27 years and it was purely by chance that I found this development. It was the top result that came up during my internet search and I was awestruck by the price, as it was unbelievably good value. I thought it was a very well-proportioned property compared to others I had seen and I also liked the location as the close proximity to the motorway means I can easily commute to Liverpool.

"I'm very grateful to Bovis Homes for helping me through the sale process and the post-sale service. Hopefully, I'll be in be in this property for at least 27 years too!"
