Local house builder Bovis Homes will be rooting for Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Club again this season, as their partnership continues into its second consecutive year.

The Hertfordshire club has enjoyed much success over the last year, with the first XV promoted to National League 1 for the first time.

“We’ve had a fantastic partnership with the club over the last year and its been great to watch them go from strength to strength,” says Candice McCabe, Bovis Homes regional marketing manager. “We’re excited to see what this season has in store and we’ll be supporting the club all the way!”

Club Chairman Colin Tilley said: “Sponsorship is the lifeblood of a club such as ours and it plays a vital role in our continuing success. We view all our sponsors as partners, with benefits to be gained on both sides.

“We are delighted to have been able to partner with such a high-profile company as Bovis Homes and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them over the coming years.”

Bovis Homes has recently launched its Stortford Fields location close to the club’s Silver Leys grounds. Offering a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes, Stortford Fields has already proven popular amongst home seekers.

Bovis Homes will be launching its show home at Stortford Fields this autumn, with one of the rooms specially-styled in a rugby theme.

“We were delighted to have been presented with a team shirt from our sponsored player, Sam Coleman,” says Candice. “This will take pride of place in one of the show home bedrooms!”
