Site manager steps in to steer Renault man Mark back to Tadpole Cross

A senior employee at a famous car brand has praised the work of a Wiltshire housebuilder’s site manager for helping his family move home – as he was just about to buy elsewhere!

Mark Connolly, sales manager at Renault in Swindon, needed to up sticks to improve his commute and for his daughter to be closer to her favoured school – and are delighted to have found their dream home at Bovis Homes’ Tadpole Cross location at Tadpole Garden Village.

But Mark and his wife Kerry’s move to the three-bedroom house with their daughter Abigail, 12, and son Charlie, 17, wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the great service provided by site manager Danny Clifford and other Bovis Homes colleagues at the Swindon location.

Mark, who also has two older children who have flown the nest, said: “We were looking for a brand-new, lovely family home as I needed to move this side of Swindon for work and my daughter wanted to be closer to the school she had her heart set on attending.

“We were just putting down the deposit on another home when the Bovis Homes team at Tadpole Cross got in touch and we were so impressed with how they operated, our minds were completely turned. The Bovis Homes are such a high standard too, the whole move has been a delight.

“Danny has been absolutely terrific. He has always been there whenever we’ve needed him and taken a real interest in our family, the quality of the house and our move, ensuring we’ve had as pleasant an experience as possible.”

Mark added that friends and family had visited the property to see its high standards for themselves and that it was the perfect house and area for socialising.

“It’s a fantastic family-friendly house and a very social one,” he said. “We regularly have relatives and friends over who enjoy the layout and space of our open-plan kitchen and dining area.

“Tadpole Cross is a lovely area too. We’ve got fields close to us and lakes – it’s a beautiful, social place.”

Danny, 25, joined the Tadpole Cross location in late 2015 as assistant manager and became site manager in February last year. He previously worked at Letcombe Fields in Wantage, having joined Bovis Homes in summer 2015.

Bovis Homes has a handful of house types at Tadpole Cross, including the Cranham, Southwold and Sheringham three-bedroom homes and the Salisbury and Lydiard four-bedroom properties.
