South West produce a hit with Teignmouth businesses

- 17 Oct 16

Representatives from local Teignmouth businesses gathered together to sample a variety of South West delights at a cheese and wine tasting event held at Bovis Homes' Marine Drive location.

The event, organised by Bovis Homes and Complete Estate Agents, provided an opportunity for guests to find out about the wide range of local food producers within the South West area whilst enjoying the sea views from the house builders five-bedroom show home, 'The Beaufort'.

A number of people attended the event from a range of businesses including Four Stages Finance and The Godfrey Partnership. Owner of Westcountry Hampers, Rebecca Sutheran, gave guests an overview of local producers including Pebbelbed, Furleigh Estate and Quicke's.

South West Sales and Marketing Director at Bovis Homes, Wayne Bennett, said: "It's been a really enjoyable evening and a great way to celebrate the delicious food drink the South West has to offer.

"We're delighted that we were able to offer such a stunning venue for the event and that visitors were able to enjoy the beautiful view while tucking into the cheese and wine!"

The four and five bedroom homes at Marine Drive have been designed to take full advantage of the impressive outlook, with far reaching sea views across the Teign estuary to Shaldon and beyond.

The five-bedroom 'Beaufort' show home has an open plan kitchen and dining area, with bi-fold doors to the balcony. A separate sitting room with a wood burner also has bi-fold doors to a second balcony. Two of the bedrooms have en suites with a built-in wardrobe to the master room.

Jade Boyles-White, Operations Director at Complete said: "It was a great evening; I'd like to thank everyone who came along especially Rebecca who was a great host with lots of knowledge about a range of local vineyards and the story behind each producer."
