House hunters in Staplehurst can view new-build properties this weekend from a local housebuilder’s latest homes collection in the village.

Bovis Homes is unveiling two show homes at The Meadows, on Headcorn Road, on Saturday and Sunday as part of its new location launch and home hunters are encouraged to see the new properties for themselves.

Visitors can view the new three-bedroom Hazel and five-bedroom Yew, which both boast open plan kitchens with dining areas and an en suite off the master bedroom.

Candice McCabe, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “We’re so excited for the launch of The Meadows and these fantastic show homes, the Hazel and Yew, which highlight the open space and wonderful layouts of properties in our new homes collection.

“They offer home buyers and families in Staplehurst plenty of room and are designed to let in lots of natural light.

“We’re very proud to be launching The Meadows in Staplehurst, which is a beautiful village with a number of shops and amenities and good transport links, with commuters to London.”

Home buyers can view the two show homes and find out what’s included in a Bovis Homes property. They can meet with the housebuilder’s sales colleagues and have their pick of available plots.

There are many purchasing options available to assist buying a Bovis Homes property. They include the Government’s Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, Smooth Move, Home Exchange and the Key Workers initiative.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.

Bovis Homes’ Home Exchange initiative means the housebuilder will purchase the customer's current property, which means they can avoid all those estate agent fees and time-consuming, stress-building house chains. It also means that purchasers can stay in their current house until their new home is ready.

To part-exchange their home, a customer’s current property must be valued at no more than 75 per cent of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.

Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.

The Meadows' show home launch event takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
