Stephen's stress-free Home Exchange

"They were all very helpful and friendly," he said. "There was a set process for everything and I was given a copy of everything I had agreed too. I didn't feel rushed and if I needed time to think I would just explain and the staff would let me go back to them.
"I liked not being pushed into things as I've previously had some experience with other sales staff trying to do that. The site manager was great and would explain the drawings in the early stages as I had bought one of the first houses to be built. Between the plans and the show home, I was able to visualise exactly what I was buying.

"On the day I moved in I appreciated the site staff completing the meter readings with me, confirming a follow-up appointment with the site manager and then simply letting me get on with things. I also liked that a moving-in pack had also been provided. The site staff then checked everything was fine later in the day after the removal van had gone."

Stephen moved into his new home just five months after reserving the plot. Since then he's had time to reflect on his experience and what he has now.

"I love the house, it's even better than I thought it would be," he said. "It's really well designed and I love the large doors from the living room to the garden. They make the property very light and airy. It also has a fully-fitted kitchen, including good appliances, great storage cupboards, a beautiful bathroom suite, as well as two good-sized double bedrooms."
