Bovis Homes marked the achievement with partner VIVID, one of the largest housing associations in the south of England, with breakfast, tea and coffee and speeches as the housebuilder handed over the last of 76 affordable homes at its Boorley Park location.

Speaking at Boorley Park, off Maddoxford Lane, Bovis Homes regional managing director, James Dunne, said VIVID was a key partner and tenants in Botley had benefitted as a result.

“We are delighted to be handing over the final affordable homes here at Boorley Park as part of our hugely successful venture with VIVID.

“This collaboration between Bovis Homes and VIVID has secured the accelerated delivery of an additional 76 homes within the Botley community.

“It is the strength of our relationship with VIVID as a key partner that underpins the confidence to enter into the agreements necessary to facilitate this acceleration of delivery.”

The affordable homes package consisted of one to five-bedroom Bovis Homes properties after VIVID was appointed as a strategic partner of Homes England.

Work has now started on Bovis Homes and VIVID’s next partnership project, to deliver 160 affordable homes at the housebuilder’s Whiteley Meadows location in North Whiteley.

Julie Porter, Head of Development at VIVID, said: "We’re delighted with the final handover from Bovis Homes at Boorley Park. These are high quality affordable homes that are really making a difference to families in Botley.

"VIVID looks forward to strengthening its relationship with Bovis Homes even further, with an exciting 160-home project at Whiteley Meadows in North Whiteley."
