The numbers add up for Andrew at Phillips Lea

Working from home means Andrew Ramsbottom spends more time there than most, so when looking for a new property in Kemble, Gloucestershire, quality and space were extra important.

Andrew, who works in the financial services sector, was living in nearby Wiltshire with his partner and her son, when he discovered Bovis Homes' Phillips Lea location through an online property portal.

"We had been looking for a change of scenery for a little while and I was keen to find a bigger property but with a more manageable garden," says Andrew. "We've bought lots of new homes in the past and always liked the fact that they are ready to move into right away.

"We stumbled upon the homes at Phillips Lea online and were taken with the attractive style and great location. They seemed to offer great value too, so we decided to take a look around," he explains.

"The sales team were fantastic in guiding us through the process, and when we toured the show home, we were struck by the quality of the specification and just how much was included in the price," he adds.

After speaking with the sales team, Andrew and his family decided to make a reservation on the five-bed Malmesbury house type.

The Malmesbury comes with a fitted kitchen and family area with bi-fold doors leading to the garden, a sitting room with wood burning stove and underfloor heating. There's also a dressing room and en suite to bedroom one, and an adjacent garage.

Andrew and his family also took advantage of the Home Exchange scheme for their move, with Bovis Homes buying their existing property, allowing them to move into the new home at Phillips Lea without delay, and saving thousands of pounds on estate agent fees.

"The Home Exchange process was excellent. We'd never thought of it before, but it meant we could move out of our old house and straight into our new one," says Andrew.

"We had previously sold our old property a couple of times, but for one reason or another the sales fell through. So it took a lot of the hassle out of moving, knowing that Bovis Homes had this covered," he adds.

After a few weeks in their new home, Andrew and his family have plenty of praise for the house and the team behind it.

"Everything in this house, right down to the kitchen appliances and bathroom fittings, is of an excellent standard. Settling in has been easy because we know we won't have to do anything to change or upgrade it for several years," he says.

"Any issues have been quickly resolved by the site team, who along with the sales staff really couldn't do enough for us. We'd definitely recommend Bovis Homes to others."
