Time running out for house hunters in Barming wanting to buy a new-build home

Home hunters wanting to move to a new-build location in Barming have limited time left – as most of the properties have now been sold!

Time is running out for house buyers at Bovis Homes’ Orchard Fields, off Hermitage Lane, where there are three, four and five-bedroom properties left to purchase.

More than 90 per cent of the homes have been sold at the location, and a new sales centre is to open – in a five-bedroom Arundel house type.

Candice McCabe, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “Orchard Fields is such a popular site with all sorts of home buyers – couples, individuals, families, downsizers and the elderly.

“Most of our homes have sold there – more than 90 per cent – and we have some great, high quality builds left to buy.”

The three-bedroom Southwold boasts an open plan kitchen, sitting room and dining area, with French doors to the back garden. There is an en suite to bedroom one.

The Canterbury, with four bedrooms, also has a separate sitting room, ground floor study and a garage or allocated parking.

Meanwhile, the Arundel includes a fitted kitchen and en suites to bedroom one and two. There is a separate sitting room, dining room and ground floor study.

Those who reserve before 31st October could have a five per cent deposit matched by Bovis Homes. The deal cannot be used with any other incentive or initiative except for the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.
