Vistry Annual Award winners revealed as Group celebrates five-star rating once again

- 25 Mar 22

Winners of the Vistry Annual Awards 2022 have been revealed – as the company celebrates receiving a five-star rating from the Home Builders Federation for the third year in a row! Colleagues from across the country were rewarded for their success over the past 12 months as Vistry retained its five-stars following the annual announcement of the industry’s customer satisfaction survey results. Vistry’s annual awards shows how we are ‘Making Vistry’ and the Group has also launched its Employee Value Proposition Dug page – showcasing what Vistry stands for as an employer, after extensive work using information from Peakon results, focus groups and through one-to-one interviews. One of the big winners of the night was senior site manager Ben Forster (Vistry Housebuilding – Yorkshire), who received the Individual Outstanding Achievement of the Year Award. Vistry’s Kenilworth joint venture – which incorporates both Bovis Homes and Linden Homes brands – won the Innovation award, as a great example of Housebuilding and Partnerships working together. Announcing Ben's win, Vistry CEO Greg Fitzgerald said: "There was one person who stood out above all, and it is someone at the other end of their career to those I have already congratulated. He runs a site that has 100% customer satisfaction returns, has the highest SHE score in the Business Unit, and is a Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence winner! Absolutely well deserved, congratulations!" A big congratulations also go to Adam Smallman, Customer Service winner; Adam Streeton, Full-time Apprentice of the Year and the Women’s Network, which won Diversity and Inclusion Champion. Colleagues also raised money for Vistry’s charity of the year, Papyrus, during the ceremony, held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Closing the awards, group change director Roger Morton, added: “I think that you will all agree that there have been some fantastic achievements from some outstanding people and teams from right across the business. I would like to offer my thanks for all those who have made this event possible.” For the full list of winners, see the awards table below. Five stars is the highest possible rating that the HBF can grant, and means that more than 90 per cent of customers who moved in between October 2019 and September 2020 would ‘recommend their builder to a friend’. The award is based on the quality of the property and the service provided by the housebuilder while the customer settles into their new home.
