Vistry Group acquires new site in Wadebridge
Vistry Group has exchanged contracts on a site with outline planning permission for 204 homes at Trevarner Farm, off Green Hill in Wadebridge.

The new development will provide a collection of two, three, four and five bedroom high quality homes for the local area, including 62 affordable properties, along with areas of open space and a play area. The company will also be contributing £566,450 to the community towards education and off-site open space.

The first phase will be built by Bovis Homes with a range of properties from their latest collection, that focus on contemporary living with bright and spacious rooms.

Vistry brings together the energy and talents of Bovis Homes and Linden Homes. John Parry, regional land director for Vistry Group in the south west, commented: “This is a great acquisition for the business, complementing the existing Linden Homes scheme of 90 homes and we’d like to thank everyone involved so far. Phase one of the development will be built by Bovis Homes next year and Linden Homes will deliver the second phase in 2022.

“We will be submitting a reserved matters planning application in September and hope to start on site in April 2021, providing much-needed homes for the local community.”

Vistry Group is always on the look-out for land opportunities in South Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall for 100-500 unit schemes. For more information visit www.bovishomes.co.uk or to get in touch with the land team email john.parry@vistry.co.uk
