Vistry Group appoints new regional customer services director

Vistry Group has announced a new senior appointment within the customer services department of its East Midlands division. Lucy Hollands has been promoted to the role of regional customer services director, based at the housebuilder’s divisional office in Peterborough. Lucy joined Linden Homes – which is part of the Vistry Group, along with Bovis Homes and Vistry Partnerships – nine years ago. She was originally appointed as a customer services coordinator, before progressing to head of customer services. After beginning her career within the commercial construction field at 19 as a site secretary, Lucy decided that her people skills and talent for problem-solving would be suited to a customer services role. Lucy, 33, from Stamford, said: “I’m passionate about helping people and solving problems. That passion has been with me throughout my career and I’m looking forward to bringing it to my new role with Vistry. “No day is the same when you work in customer care. Every customer has different needs and I am always ready to take on a new challenge. “Good customer service has never been more important than during the pandemic. I have tried to be as sensitive and empathetic as I can be, trying to gauge if buyers are feeling lonely and might appreciate that extra bit of time on the phone.” Lucy’s promotion sees her take a seat on the board of directors and gives her greater responsibility within the business to ensure targets are met.
