Wellbeing and health on the agenda for Yorkshire housebuilder
- 27 Sep 21
From blood pressure checks and nutritional advice to squat workshops and mindfulness sessions – staff from Vistry Yorkshire have been building on their wellbeing and health awareness. Colleagues from Vistry Group, which includes brands Bovis Homes and Linden Homes, were given the full rest and relaxation experience at the developer’s head office as part of an event to re-iterate the importance of wellbeing in the workplace. Professionals from a number of sectors were on hand to offer neck and shoulder massages, car health checks and deliver a number of exercise classes. There was also the chance to try the latest seasonal hydration drinks and tuck into some nutritional treats. Event organiser Karen Hoyle said: “The pandemic has seen so many challenges for so many people, and as a business who cares for and invests in our staff – we absolutely recognise the importance of their health and wellbeing. “It was fantastic to see so many colleagues – many of whom had not seen each other in person for months – enjoying the wide range of hands-on activities and information on display. The feedback has been terrific, and we raised just over £500 from the wellbeing raffle for our chosen charity MIND. Huge thanks to everyone who gave their time and supported the event.” Thanks to the many companies that donated so generously to the raffle and gave their time including; Aviva, Hazlewood Castle Hotel & Spa, Temple Spa, Ginos Restaurant, Thorpe Park, PureGym and Fusion Autos.
