Whitehouse home hunters to view brand-new show house–overlooking new park!

Home hunters in Milton Keynes can view new-build properties this weekend from a local housebuilder that has just opened a new £750,000 park in the area.

Bovis Homes is unveiling a show home at Whitehouse Park, off Dansteed Way, on Saturday and house hunters are encouraged to see the new property – by Lady Margery's Gorse, which has been developed as part of a joint venture between the housebuilder and Milton Keynes Council.

Visitors can view the five-bedroom Warwick, which boasts an open plan kitchen with a dining area and French doors to the back garden.

The Warwick overlooks the impressive new Crownhill park – Lady Margery's Gorse, which was built by Bovis Homes – and was officially opened by the town’s Mayor last week.

Heather Suffield, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “We’re so excited for the launch of this fantastic show home, the Warwick, which offers home buyers and families in Milton Keynes plenty of room with lots of natural light.

“We’re very proud to be launching The Warwick in Whitehouse Park, which overlooks Lady Margery’s Gorse, in the centre of Whitehouse.

“Even though Whitehouse is on the outskirts of Milton Keynes and has a woodland area and plenty of green space, it’s close to the centre of the town and our homes are within walking distance of a primary school, with a doctor’s surgery soon to open and a secondary school being built.”

Home buyers can view the show home and find out what’s included in a Bovis Homes property. They can meet with the housebuilder’s sales colleagues and have their pick of available plots – including the family five-bedroom homes, where they can have their stamp duty paid.

There are many purchasing options available to assist buying a Bovis Homes property. They include the Government’s Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, Smooth Move, Home Exchange and the Key Workers initiative.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.

Bovis Homes’ Home Exchange initiative means the housebuilder will purchase the customer's current property, which means they can avoid all those estate agent fees and time-consuming, stress-building house chains. It also means that purchasers can stay in their current house until their new home is ready.

To part-exchange their home, a customer’s current property must be valued at no more than 75 per cent of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.

Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.

Whitehouse Park’s show home opening event will take place on Saturday between 11am and 2pm.
