Bovis Homes have teamed up with social housing provider Stonewater to deliver a wide selection of quality homes for rent and shared ownership at their new Campton Fields location in Shefford.

There will be nine two-bedroom and nine three-bedroom houses available with shared ownership through the partnership. For renting, it will offer 12 one-bedroom apartments, two two-bedroom bungalows and 17 larger family homes with two or three bedrooms.

Robin Hambrook, Partnership Housing Director for Bovis Homes, said: "We are very pleased to be working in partnership with Stonewater to deliver affordable homes in this great location.

"It's exciting to be working closely together to create fabulous homes we can all be proud of."

Campton Fields is a 140-home location, with a mix of homes for the open market and designated affordable properties, taking shape in the lively market town of Shefford, 11 miles south of Bedford. This historic town provides excellent shops, services, restaurants and pubs and there are schools and health facilities all close by.

The first homes delivered for Stonewater - five shared ownership homes - are due for completion at the end of this year.

Chris Montague, Stonewater's Head of Development (East), said: "I am delighted that work is now under way on these new homes in Shefford, which will increase housing choice and also create local jobs and economic growth in the area.

"Campton Fields is an excellent example of how housing associations and developers can work together to create new homes where they are most needed.

"Affordable housing, like these new homes in Shefford, are instrumental in helping key workers and young families who are often priced-out of good quality homes, find something that suits them at a price they can truly afford."
