Wymondham couple say new-build is just perfect for family life

A couple in Wymondham who moved into a new-build family home, say the open space and large garden is perfect for family life.

Tai Ray, who grew up in the town, and her husband Glen, purchased a four-bedroom Bovis Homes property at the Birch Gate location, on Silfield Road.

Moving from Hethersett, the couple and their young daughter were attracted to the large living spaces, modern layout and good-size garden, where they can eat outside on long summer evenings.

Tai said: “"We looked at Bovis Homes' website and the designs and specifications of the properties appealed to us, so we wanted to take a closer look and visited the Birch Gate office for more information.

"The ease of having everything done for us and being able to concentrate on getting settled in straight away, drew us to a new-build home.

“The Bovis Homes sales team - James, Katie and Kelly - supported us all the way to the finishing line. All three were fabulous and a great support to us when we moved, and since then too. Their customer service is second-to-none and they are a credit to Bovis Homes.

“We loved the layout, the large living area and patio doors going into the garden, where we’re enjoying the long evenings, and Birch Gate is close to family, work and network links, such as the A11.

"Our daughter loves her new room and she settled instantly, which is very important to us."

Tai, a payroll and fleet administrator, and Glen, an operations manager, both work flexible hours and regularly use the study in their new home.

In their spare time they love to socialise, walk, holiday, cook, plus spend time in the garden.

"We have lovely neighbours and we have had some great walks around the development and towards the town centre,” Tai added. “Shops are only a 20-minute walk away.

"We like walking and exercising. We spend lots of time doing activities as a family and we also love going on holiday. I enjoy gardening, which is great as we now have a new garden to plan out, and we all love cooking and baking in our new kitchen."
