Young site manager gives colleagues the seal of approval with his first home purchase

- 05 Oct 18

First-time buyer Danny Clifford, 25, has reserved a four-bedroom townhouse at Bovis Homes’ Augustus Park location in Coopers Edge, after saving up with his fiancée Judy Walker.

And knowing the team who are behind the construction of their home has given Danny, who manages a site near Swindon, real reassurance that it will be built to the highest standards.

Working in the same Bovis Homes region, Danny knows Coopers Edge site manager Steve Andrews and assistant site manager Matt Maddocks well, and believes his first home couldn’t be in better hands!

He says: “Steve previously worked at Homelands in Bishop’s Cleeve and is a great site manager at Coopers Edge. Matt did really well on our Kemble location, near Cirencester, and is doing a top job in Gloucester.

“What makes Bovis Homes the company we want to buy from is the way the product is built. We like the traditional build and the layout of the home.”

Danny and Judy, a former pupil at Chosen Hill School, have been living with her parents in nearby Churchdown and hope to move into their new house, next spring.

Danny was attracted to the new property’s three-floor layout, and said: “This is a lovely, unique house, Judy absolutely loves it. It’s spacious, there are big-sized bedrooms and we plan to turn the fourth one into a walk-in wardrobe.

“It has three floors and two of the bedrooms are on the first floor, which would be perfect for kids. There’s a big landing and a bathroom too. Upstairs, there is a great master bedroom with an en suite, plus the bedroom that we’ll convert.

“The ground floor is all open-plan too,” added Danny, who works at Bovis Homes’ Tadpole Cross location in Wiltshire. “The house is perfect and it’s a great area – we can’t wait to move in.”

George Stevens, senior sales advisor at Augustus Park, said: “Danny is a great young site
manager and won’t have far to travel to our Tadpole Cross location. We look forward to welcoming him here and wish him all the best.”
